Telepathy around Baby Bethel within University of Lagos, Akoka’s postgraduate lecture hall.

The University of Lagos sometimes referred to as UNILAG established in 1962, known as the “Nation’s Pride”, is a public research institution located in Lagos, Nigeria . The university is made up of three campuses; two campuses located within Yaba Local Council Development Area (LCDA) and the third being the college of medicine located at Idi-Araba, Surulere Local Government Area. The college of medicine of the University of Lagos shares the same boundary with Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) where the chief executive officer of Happenings By-Imonikhe Global Enterprise (BN: 7038306) was born. A little insight into the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) is that the Lagos University Teaching Hospital is a foremost Federal Government tertiary hospital in Nigeria, with over 950 admission beds, Forty-Six (46) Clinical Departments, Eighteen (18) Non-Clinical Departments and Outreaches at both Yaba and Pakoto. Presently, LUTH has over Two Thousand Three hundred (2,300) Staff comprising Consultants, Residents/Medical Officers, Nurses, Pharmacists, Physiotherapists, Medical Laboratory scientists, Nutritionists, Hospital Administrators, Engineers and other categories of staff. The Federal Neuropsychiatric Hospital is also situated in Yaba, with Yaba Bus Terminal also being a central transportation hub located on Murtala Mohammed Way. Unilag has its campus shuttle parked at Yaba, that is allowed to transport commuters into the premises.

Mrs. Dada Abimbola gave birth to Dada Morireoluwagba Bethel, a female child at Lagoon Hospital, Ikoyi on the 8th of November, 2024 with Bethel becoming four months old on the 8th of March, 2025. Baby Bethel, still being breastfed has been complimented severally as the youngest person in the class by nothing less than three lecturers with the latest being Dr. L. A Ogunyebi, a lecturer in Cell Biology and Genetics teaching advanced environmental biology lecture yesterday, 10th of March, 2025. The baby creates an ambience similar to childhood in each and everyone of us present to the extent that she allows Abimbola’s fellow classmates to carry and pet her. Even though the University of Lagos is a tertiary Institution, it also has its nursery, primary and secondary school within its premises meaning that should the parents of Bethel choose it, they can send their child to attend the nursery and primary school associated with the University of Lagos (UNILAG) called the University of Lagos Women Society (ULWS) school. It’s a private school located on the UNILAG campus in Akoka, Lagos.

Brain development is a complex process that begins before birth and continues into adulthood. It’s influenced by both genes and experience. The neurons, also known as nerve cells are the basic building blocks of the brain and nervous system. They receive sensory information, send motor commands, and process electrical signals. These neurons are responsible for sending and receiving neurotransmitters (neurotransmitters are chemicals that carry information between brain cells). Depending on its location, a neuron can perform the job of a sensory neuron, a motor neuron, or an interneuron. Each of these types of neurons sends and receives specific neurotransmitters. Newborns have fairly good hearing, but they don’t understand sounds at first. Their hearing improves over time as they develop. By four months (4 months), babies may smile or go quiet when they hear a familiar voice meaning that their vestibulocochlear nerve is rapidly developing.

During lecture, i can conclusively confirm that telepathy occurred inside lecture theatre 009 (LT009) within the University of Lagos Akoka postgraduate first semester, 2025. Let it also be made a fact that both undergraduates and postgraduates make use of LT009.
